CONVICTS
UPSKILLING
PATHWAYS

An international partnership, coordinated by Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation and co-financed by the EU Erasmus + programme, that spans four European countries including Italy, Greece, Cyprus and The Netherlands.

An experimental learning initiative aimed at designing and piloting innovative training modules and monitoring tools for the upskilling of 70 women, 120 men and 20 youths in 6 European prisons to promote the social reintegration of prisoners.

All European partners gathered in Turin on 28 and 29th November 2019 to kick-start the project together.  The two-day meeting helped to set strong foundations and outline a shared vision for the project, which will be implemented in Italy, Greece, Cyprus and The Netherlands.

We aim to improve the medium to long-term employment prospects of women and men detained in European prisons in order to promote their social reintegration.
